2nd So Cal run Aug 21-22

I have a weekend with no plans Aug 21-22 and would like to plan another run. Not sure where yet. It is still too hot for the desert, and most of you guys will have just been in Big Bear.

Looking for some new ideas and checking interest...let me hear from some of you.

I'd suggest Anza borrego but I'm guessing it'll probably be too hot...maybe johnson valley or joshua tree area?

anywhere desrt is going to be 100 degrees plus.... Marc you guys should check out Los Coyotes IR there are some crazy trails there but there are also some milder ones. if nothing else you could go to the top of hot springs mountain highest mountain is S.D. My one buddy with a heep could show you around if he's free, but there are some trails there that are rated harder than the rubicon, so you might want to see if bruce is free.......

hungry valley, rowher flats, silverado canyon, big bear...what else is there? someone with one of those nifty "4wd adventure" books could probably find out. i think i've heard about some scenic, albeit proabaly pretty easy, trails around santa barbara....

I have already wheeled at Los Coyotes. That place is great and I would love to go again, but it may be too hot there also. It is about at the same elevation as Carveacre and you knw how hot it can get there

You can always join the TTORA guys. They're doing a big bear run that weekend.

krap, now i have a dilemna. Customtacos meet at the 21st of Aug. at HB or BigBear with TTORA. And i will be also attending the yotatech BigBear at the 7th, Pismo/BigFalls at the end of this month too...
:pat:

I should've listened to my Fiance and bought a corolla.

Anthony--that Big bear trip sounds like fun. The message boards at TTORA are too confusing though. I just signed up again over there, so hopefully I can get more info.
