Dude, is your avatar pic when your rig was IFS? I miss Paragon...

The beater and the tow rig are gassed up. Still need to gather all my camping gear, tools, etc. See you around dinner time Thursday. Terry asked that we save him a good spot for

Yeah I miss Paragon too. Funny thing is I was never there, but it was pretty much in my back yard.

I'd like to get everyone as close together as possible, but technically it's first come first serve and individual ones close together.

Those rightcoast4x4 guys I think like to camp there on the right as you come into the parking area because your protected by the trees. I don't think there is a whole lot of room there though.

Your probably gonna be the first one there though.

8 more hours here at work, then time to finish packing up and getting a good nights sleep. Hope to be on the road heading north in 24 hours.

Gonna be a long day.

I'd love to caravan, but she won't be ready. Here is the short list of what needs to be done:
Add oil & filter
Add gear oil
Install drive shafts
Wire clutch switch and cancel
Wire start relay
Cut floor
Reinstall dash
And some other odds and ends

We usually are the first there and take the spot just to the right of the gate. That stretch with tree's goes back a bit. You can set camp up a bit further back into the wood's, you dont need to hug the parking lot....

^^^ heheh see. Yeah I didn't realize it went that far back. But it is a nice sheltered spot. Just got to be careful with the campfires back there. I've seen too many people move the fire rings.

ok need opinions, when I bought the truck it needed aligned (as was evident by the tires being bald on one side and having good tread on the other) but I didn't worry about it as I knew I was going to be screwing with the suspension, so I bought some cheap tires off CL, ran them, and didn't worry about it. Now I’m done screwing with the suspension and have my 33's on there, so I could get it aligned but that seams kinda stupid to do 2 days b4 I go bounding around at RC and maybe tweak the alignment again... but I also hate to run my 33's the whole way there and back without being aligned... so I don’t know whether to do it now or wait till after... I could also just run my small tires there, swap when I get there, wheel the 33's, then put the small ones back on for the drive home and then worry about the alignment... I’m kinda liking that last option especially since I don't have a spare 33 yet and I wouldn't need to worry about airing up after... any thoughts?

oh also anyone have a spare 33 they want to sell cheap? on a wheel would be great. the skinnier the better (ie 33x9.5 or 10.5R15 but i'd take a 12.5.

I just put BJ spacers on my '87 with a set of 33's and my alignment is way off. Gonna just run it like it is and deal with the alignment later. I don't think 300 miles round trip is gonna be that big of a deal when it comes to tire wear... But that's just me.

Sorry man, don't have a spare 33 to give ya, mine is a 33 12.5 AT so ya can use that to get outta the trails etc in case your's fails, but x2, I'd wear the smaller ones and switch out as well.

Check the RC forum as well, I think I saw a few spare 33's on there for sale as well.
