hey, im planing on going to the 2003 yota jam. im 17 and i was just wondering if there will be anyone else there around my age. reply if you are or if you have any info. also what are the plans do you go up and 4x4 all day then camp or how does it work, and i dont have a CB but i have a cobra 2-way will that work on ch.4 with the other CB's. thanks

 

Your Cobra FRS radio will NOT work with CB.

I think as the date gets closer we will see how many people are going to attend and what there plans are.

I just turned 37. Am i considered an old fart

 

42 and just got in the dirt for the first time last week.

 

Mike, I think I'm going at least for a day trip. Will probably bring my son Jackson and the most of our club from down here. I'm at least as old as you!!!!

It's been a long time since we wheeled, I'm sure you could still teach me a thing or two.

I wouldn't consider 37 an "old fart". From my perspective, thats still pretty young. If 42 is an "old fart", than I must be an "ancient fart". I now qualify for an AARP card, so don't mess with us senior citizens or I'll sick them on you.

Seriously, I was also wondering if there would be anyone with any gray hair there, so I've been sitting on the fence trying to decide. It's been a long time since I was in my 20s and I don't think I fit too well in that world anymore.

i should think that mabey you shouldnt worry about age as much, if theres on thing that we all have in common in 4x4ing and sence it will be a 4x4 event i should think that no matter what you'll feel welcome, Hey I like to talk to "old farts" they have the best things to teach you!
