Just found this...

I'm hoping this is still on the lot. The girl and I are wanting to have a vehicle again. This would be perfect! 5sp, 22re, lower miles. What do you guys think of the price? I'm gonna try to look at it this weekend, hopefully.

Looks in great shape, but to me the price is high for a stock runner.

I thought that too. I know we (girl and I) are very anxious to get a vehicle again so I definitely got excited when I found this. I've had two IFS 22re 5sp 4runner before (one since being with her) and that fact that she loves them keeps me on a doubly motivated vigil to find a good one for both of us to drive, but I know I need to curb that excitement so I can look and think clearly...

I ran a free Autocheck on the VIN last night/this morning, and mileage seems legit. No major event reports that popped up, but one "Use/Purpose" event had it listed as a fleet/rental/lease vehicle. I thought perhaps a used car dealer offered it as lease vehicle, but I've never come across that with a vehicle before. When I'm able to go look at it, I'll definitely keep in mind the price. Luckily, since it is simply one model year older than my last 4runner, I feel I have a decent idea of things to look/listen for. A brief glance at a NADA classic chart listed a high-retail price of around $4500 (low miles in very good condition.) Would that seem more appropriate?

Looks like a $3k rig to me, but I know the further north you go, the more they cost...

looks don't get you from A to B... make sure it runs right! i'd find a way to at least check cylinder compression. bad numbers there means it's worth $2G less at least.
