I'm ready to sell my yota
I could use some help setting the current value on my pickup so I can get it listed to sell. It's been 20 years of fun (and work), but I've already moved on to something bigger and better and I just don't have the time to invest in this pickup any longer. Several people have asked me "how much?" and I can never seem to decide on a price. She's old and needs some work. I'll list everything I can think of that needs replacing/work/attention:
Needs new paint. The paint had began to bubble and chip in places years ago and rust has set in many spots.
Power steering gearbox needs to be replaced.
Clutch is finally going (only took 20 years!)
Exhaust had two spots that rusted and fixed with a couple tailpipe clamps.
The worst issue of all had been an electrical issue that began last year. No start/No crank. There was a lot of bad wiring caused by CarToys installation. I fixed everything I could find and replaced A LOT of stuff. I eventually narrowed down the issue to the ClutchStartCancel switch and was finally able to get her put back together and out of the garage. Since then, the electrical issue come back. Granted, the switch was a used one, but it tested good, so in a sense I'm back to square one. I have a mechanic stopping by tomorrow to troubleshoot it for me, cause I've lost ALL desire to mess around with it. I just want it gone now and hopefully some decent cash to throw down on a large monthly payment on my newest truck. The mechanic stopping by says he'll make me an offer, but I'm sure it won't be a "reasonable" offer.
If I could get some input on what some of you think I should accept as a reasonable offer, I'd appreciate it.
In the midst of my troubleshooting, I replaced many relays, new battery, and a new starter.
I'm going to include the subwoofer box with two 10" Kenwood speakers and a 750W amp.
The tires still have approximately 90% tread on them. Goodyear M/T 33x12.5
And I replaced the sunroof seal.
I'm located in Washington state.
