Hey guys I have a 1990 Toyota 4runner, 3.0, 4x4, 4 inch lift, fiber glass front fenders and hood, 33 inch tires...I need to add more power to my truck lol I hate how slow it is...would it be worth it for me to put a throttle body spacer, headers, and a cold air intake? Would those things really make a difference or would it be a waste of time and money?

 

You can do anything you want depending on how much money you want to throw at it, search a bit more on the topic you will find everything you need

 

I tried posting that question and nobody replied but ya I plan on doing a lot mor like cams, bigger fuel injectors, gear my diffs (4.10) and then long travel eventually but I just didn't know if all my engine upgrades would be worth it or if I should just do a swap...thanks for the reply

 

The 3.0 is a somewhat touchy subject around here, some hate it some love it some are tired of hearing that it sucks etc, have a 22re so I'm not going to tell you either way, from what I have read 3.4 swap is the way to go but requires a bit of work and a donor to do the swap right, good luck with whatever you decide

 

I put headers on mine, combined with cold air intake, and a cat back I'm pretty happy with the increase in power.

 

Where the hell did you find headers for the 3.0?
