I can't make it. I'm selling th 4runner (as previously stated) so I'm not going to wheel it any. A guy from Colorado is looking at it and I'm hoping there is a chance the runner might be gone come next weekend in which case I'll have Finks runner and I'll be looking at getting it all Locked up at least in the rear. I doubt Fink could go he's busy and he might not have a runner to take anyway.

 

Well, if you wanna come and ride along, im sure we can work something out...

I'll probably head out Friday after work, at the earliest. When does everyone else plan on being able to shake loose & go...?

 

I'm leaving monett around 1 to 2 ish.. ETA around 4 to 6 pm

Food plans... I'm thinking we are planning on bringing enough food to grill/cook during the entire trip.. (restaurants dont exist in Cass, with the exception of one place that makes sandwiches) I would advise everyone else to think along the same lines....

 

Well unfortunately I am not going to be able to make it this time. My wife was kind enough to volunteer me, my 4runner, and trailer to help one of her friends move. Yeah, I am so excited.
Oh well. I will try to make it on the next trip.

If I can make it out there I just to say hey I will considering it's only 45min. from my house.

 

So today I pulled the runner in the garage to do some pre-wheeling checks... found something i didnt like.... a broken timing chain guide and a complimentary groove in my timing cover...

never fear, I will have the thing fixed and back together by friday. (fingers crossed)

 

All joking aside... thats no good. Also, remind me to keep an eye on my engine temp gauge... radiator didn't happen...

 

All done and ready to go, w/ new guides.

Looks like Matt is a no-go, $ and time stand in the way. I did offer a ride if he gets off work though.

The big question is where? I have one buddy coming with me, so we'll bring a cooler full of food for the two of us. I assume you're bringing the grill?

 

We have access to a grill. its BYO food and drink. If you can bring a little charcoal or charcoal lighter thats good, if not, no biggie.

My crew and I are arriving 4-6 ish, as is Hans and Gary. It would be best to call me or hans when you get close to cass, or when you reach cass. i think everyone has my cell number. I could give you exact directions, but I dont know for sure. if anyone needs anything, call me.

 

That was even with a partial day at work....
