my windshield solution

I got a rock to the lower edge of my windshield about 6 months after I took delivery on my FJ. I paid my $300 deductible, was informed by the glass guy that total cost was $900, so I saved $600. I got to thinking I didn't want to spend $300 bucks too often so I asked my insurance guy what it would cost to lower the deductible.

It costs me 5 dollars a year to have a $50 deductible for all my glass...............of course since I started paying for that I haven't received any incoming shrapnel and the (OEM) replacement is doing fine.
