On the way home my dealer had just unloaded 3 FJ's ...

So I drove one. I was really impressed too. I was very tempted to take it home as well. I am just uncertain as to if I would be happier with the auto or manual w/ full time 4WD. Any thoughts? One thing I would definitely have to get used to is hte complete lack of rearward vision. Out the side windows over your shoulder ... forget it. Plus the rear window is tiny, not helping the situation. I was most impressed wityh how roomy the front cabin was ove rmy 94' Runner. I get in my Runner and it feels like my knees are in my chest. The FJ felt like I could stretch for days!

I already have my rectangular (not round) adhesive backed convex mirrors in hand. I'll stick them on the inside lower corners of the sideview mirrors. About $5/pr. at Bi-Mart for the larger ones(~3"X2"), or $12/pr. at AutoZone for the same exact mirror.
