I have to agree with Dare44. What's so special about that thing. I sure wouldn't pay extra for it.

thats like painting my rims black, putting cheaper bumpers on it and calling it special???? that dont make much since

It'll be "special" to the masses and people with money to burn. I doubt Toyota is going to up the price that much since it'll probably be comparable to the TRD FJ and priced accordingly.

Funny how much people will pay for what the dealer or Toyota says is hardcore. Buy the cheap FJ 4wd, get ARB lockers front n' rear and you'll still be ahead to buy your own lift and tires etc, etc. Not that I own one or anything.

The best part about it, a paint scheme OTHER than smurf blue with a white top.

I think my favorite color so far has been the Dune color. I saw one the other day with an OME lift, Mohave Teflons and BFG MT's with all pro front and rear bumpers, the whole shebang. It looked so good!

As far as that special edition...nah... I like the color, but that's it.
