by the way austin that article about the supra, very likely. my friends that are into street racing and whatnot, say that theyre bring the supra back to compete with supercars, not just the 350z and whatnot...more on a stage of the lamborghini/ferrari/porsche cars. and just making a wild guess but i think that if they do bring the supra back, it would be supercharged stock, and toyota would up its trd department for the supra, sort of taking the trd superchargers now to another level. just my thoughts. and the landcruiser sort of reminds me of the new bronco...does anyone know if thats going to be put in production? id say its about time they put winches on toyotas from the stock, maybe sliders too.....

well that was me just popping off...heh

i wonder how it'd be geared to work with a 4 speed gearbox, most people can barely drive 5 speeds this day and age, it'd have to be wide-ratio with an overdrive i think.

still can't get over the IFS though...if it does have it(which it will almost certainly will in the US)

Hot!....I think it'd be nice to have an FJ with the winches for sure. Is that a mobile gps unit on the dash?

Yea, it is a detachable gps...

I hope those kind of things are not on the real version, a good reliable wheeler for non-mall wheeler prices would be awesome.

Is the ifs coils or tortion bar?

I will defiantly buy one! I drove my 77 FJ40 into work yesterday and it was sure fun to drive it again! But!!! I could not ever use it as a daily driver… This would be the best thing for me. I wonder how much? (with e-lockers and winches)

Doubt it will actually have factory winches , but IIRC it is slated to be somewhat of an "entry level" 4x4, I would assume $20-$30k for a broad price range.

Yea and minimum wadge was like 1.25/hour when your truck was still on the showroom floor.

They were talking about it being between 15-20k actually, more to the lower end of that. Its suppose to target off-road fanatics and the younger college first new car crowd, assuming their daddies don't buy them a mercedes. Its priced accordingly, stock ofcourse, at an estimated 15k give or take a few.

And $2500 more could get you into Corvette that same year with a lowly 185hp motor.
