My dealer sold one tonight

Dealer is getting two for the weekend.
A silver one is due in tomorrow or Saturday, and hopefully I will get to take it for a test drive.

A black cherry one came in earlier today, and it already sold!
I will have to keep my peeps open for it.

Taking a 2 male 1/8" plug stereo cable with me so I can test out how the iPod works with the stock stereo.

Ooh eagerly waiting to hear what happens
Irvine is nothing but preppy BMWs or rice rockets. There are no nice trucks around

I just got to sit in and look at a yellow one tonight! It was pretty cool finally seeing one in person and not even expecting it.
I picked my bro up from work (yeah the one that hit me in his Tacoma) and took him to go see if "Burt Toyota" had the truck he's still been painfully looking for. They didn't have jack crap but the sellsman had us walking all over the place and it just so happened that he brought/walked us to an already sold '07 FJ somewhere inside the garage part of the building. He actually called it, "One serious off road machine" lol...

My eyes grew big and i said a few words. Surprised, I immediately started admiring the outside and realized what was sitting before me. Showing it off, he opened up both drivers side doors and the back door . I went straight to the drivers seat and hopped in w/out asking. I sat there looking, touching, and taking it all in (as if i was the first one to ever see one)...it was different but very NICE. I really liked how everything was laid out. The sells guy was cool but i knew it was time to go since he was "looking" for a Tacoma for my brother. As they were both sorta leaving, I walked around it again and looked inside the rear interior with doors opened. The only downfall i saw was how little leg room there was for back seat passengers but that didn't really concern me since i was mainly looking at the comfort of driver+passenger and exactly how capable this rig could be off road. I then got on my knees and started looking at the where the shocks mounts were, the rear suspension design, the front IFS, the wheelbase, and the ground clearance of everything. Overall I was pretty impressed with what i saw. My short evaluation was during a 2-3 minute period but that was long enough to know that i really liked it. For a DD/weekend warrior, i don't think theres anything out there thats any better.

That is cool you got to see one Rocket.
I called my dealer before closing tonight, and they said they will not have anymore in for about a month.

Not sure if that is true or not, seems kind of far off before they should be getting any.
I guess I will have to try another dealer to at least see one, unless some make it here sooner.
