A little 4wheeling with the FJ.
Well. Went muddin with the FJ the other day. More like Cross Country with some mud in the way. Got stock once, mud all the way up to the differential. Got pulled by my friend's T100.
Took some pictures at the very beginning and the very end. (sorry I was having a blast and forgot to take pictures.
Oh btw Running boards are not "that" bad. Never had clearance problems. Though I didn't rock crawl or anything. They're still going off.
Here are the pics.
Biker stopped to check out the FJ.

On this picture I know it doesn't look like it. But the I'm going down a 45ish degree hill with some big bumps.

Again can't really see much but I couldn't see my friend taking the picture here.

edit: added pic
P.S: Duelers + Clayish Mud = Hockey rink. I still cant believe the tires didn't even dig a little bit. My friend told me it slid sank and never moved down, up or in any direction. Need to get me some BFGs or Terras pretty soon.
Anyways Enjoy

I think so too. Though if you want BFGs from factory fork over $1800. I plan on buying cheap steelies and some nice tires and have them in the garage, then swap them when I go wheelin'. Tires are already bigger than your average take-me-to-the-mall SUV (31" still not enough)Atleast give us the option to upgrade tires from factory for a reasonable price.

k_os, great shots, thanks. I was able to trade my OEM Dunlops for a set of four Nitto Terra Grapplers of the same size for $440 including free replacement road hazard upgrade. I think the $200 credit was a fair deal for Dunlops best suited to duty as crash barriers. I posted some pics in the "Check Out My Truck" forum.

4RocRunner92, the FJC came with 265 70 17 tires. (almost 32")
Thats a large stock tire. Im not sure about the Duelers most came with,
but the Dunlop's that mine came with are a decently aggressive tire.
(still want some BFG Muds)
