Question 600 lbs for the hitch?

Would I be able to get away with this on the FJ?

Typically the hitch load is 10% of the rated towing capacity (15% Max.). That being said, if the total weight of the bike and the carrier is 600 lbs. you might be o.k. since the weight is so close to the rear axle.

Maximum tongue weight is listed in the owners manual, it is probably 500lbs. You could probably get away with it, but the rear end will really sag. Suspension airbags would probably work pretty well in this situation.

It won't clear the spare tire, but I don't see why it wouldn't handle it.

I've seen those bike/hitch carriers being used before (with SUVs) and they never did look very stable.
