Well, with that mindset, this sub-forum will die.... well it is kind of dead already.....
I still vote to move Facebook group here!
I actually found using Facebook as a forum kind of annoying, but do what works for you!

I am new around here...so hopefully the forum is not gonna die!
I brought my 1996 T100 Standard Cab, long bed truck brand new and had used it as a daily driver for the first two years before getting a company car. Now, I only drive it in the summer on weekends. It is garaged all the time, and looks brand new with only 32k miles on it. I never intended to keep it this long, and now after 20 plus years, I would never think of selling it! I get a lot of comments and thumbs up. I never seen another like mine in similar condition, although do see a number of them in excess of 250,000 miles with battle scars. Hence, since I live in Ohio and not able to attend those Toyota Club shows in California...so am trying to find others closer that I can talk about T100's with. It's not old enough to be vintage or of interest to most people to consider bringing to car shows. Most truck clubs or shows tends to be strong on Domestics like Chevy, Ford, and Dodges...
This is not my first Toyota, as I have owned them since college with my first Toyota being a Corona! All of my Toyotas have lasted over 300,000 miles each before being sold or traded in. Currently, our family's daily drivers includes a 1999 Avalon Platinum Edition, 2008 Camry LE, and 2015 Sienna XLE AWD. My T100 is my toy.
Having said that, I hope this forum does not die...let me know if there are similar forums or clubs that I would be interested in checking out???

I agree with moving the FB group here since in my experience the interactions on FB have not been as useful as they usually are on a tech forum. It turns more social than informative but I guess that's up to whoever is moderating it. I'm on some other car pages on FB and they are moderated well but others not so much. Been on YT for a while and just coming back and it would be good to keep it alive but to start off there just aren't that many T100s to begin with. It is the best kept secret in the 90's truck world, but we already knew that!

Good Resource and Broken Handles
while I don't go here often, it's great to have.
Driver's door handle failed. I pulled the door panel and the handle assembly and found the plastic Dog that engages the latch broken off. There was enough plastic left on the handle to drill a hole and place a stainless bolt to engage the latch mechanismo. It's lasted a month, but I try to approach opening that door like it's a scared fox on the freeway. Maybe when it fails again I can try some epoxy adhesive since I saved the broken pawl.
Pale blue is where the dog/pawl broke. Left the linkage rod in place.
Stainless bolt: take care with drilling pilot hole. I was lucky and just glanced the axis rod.

This post just jumped out when I checked "new posts." I realize you probably just mean it's dead in relation to T-100's. It's a shame there's less activity because there is a wealth of advice here. I'm increasingly frustrated with Yotatech's new format. Stuff jumps around on the page and I just searched a question and can't find any posts. I'll try Google. You can't search Facebook groups for in depth answers and how many times can you bear to read another post about "what size tire..."

Just joined, T100???
Hi, I just pulled the engine..3.4l auto 4x4 1996 Rust free from New Mexico. The PO said it was towed behind a camper for the 246k miles shown on the odometer. Any way motor had copious amounts of grease and motor. It was losing antifrease to the point I believe was seaping out of passenger side head. So I decided to pull the heads and the further I got seemed pulling the engine was not a bad idea. So do I replace the whole engine or do I just swap for new heads. The radiator had foam around the radiator. I am guessing over heating was a problem. Here in Iowa maybe not so bad. Any recommendations on a motor or heads. I am also wanting to get rid of the stock radiator looking for ideas or brands companies. One last question how do I get a motor that is delivered to my home without a loading dock. The heads are off motor is out. Not seeing any finger nail groove of ring wear on cylinders. Thanks looking to learn from this group and willing to share my knowledge.
