My question is not is it a good trade, its how will it behave comparably to my 88 xtrta-cab; ie mileage handleing etc. I get 18-23mpg. Turning is a little rough cause I have ovrsized tires. Oh the t100 is 3.4 auto, pretty much stock except a camper shell.

 

What kind of classic British racing car are you talking about, A Lotus or E (or D) Type Jag is worth a lot more than a MGB or a Sprite. You'd do better selling it in Hemmings or a vintage racing mag (I can't remember the name, maybe Victory lane?), a clean car will get a good price. If it's a B,
midget, or Spitfire it may be a good trade, but if it's a Seven, TB, TC, TF,TR3 or better It's worth a lot more than a Tundra.

 

Gas mileage is gonna be a lot worse than the 4 cylinder you have now. Maybe at best in the mid-teens since it's a 4WD and it looks like it has a mild lift.

How much is your car worth? That T100 sold. Did the buyer back out?

No the buyer of the truck wants to trade. He bought it cause he was buying a house in the mountains but that fell through so he doesnt need a truck anymore. Well now we (she ) wants to know if we could resale for 5,500. Im geussing yes cause the winning bid is 5,999. What do you guys think we could get out off it?

 

An Alpine isn't that desirable but you may find a Get Smart fan who may be into it (that was the car from the tv series or was it a Tiger?). Anyway a stock Alpine in good condition should be worth about $4000, if it's properly race prepped you'll get more.
Is that "TV" Tommy Ivo in that picture? he built some cool cars when I was a kid.
