T100 Noob ?
So my neighbor (older guy) just came along a 1994 T100. 3.4L and 5speed single cab long bed w/ shell. (I'll get pics up later)
Anyways, he wants me to help him setup his truck for some mild wheeling and camping. (I was thinking just some bj spacers and shackles, and 33's maybe? or 32's depending on what fits). This is not going to be a dd, but he doesn't have lots of $$ to spend and wants to keep things simple, yet fun for camping and some mild wheeling.
So from looking at this truck and checking it out it looks like the front suspension is practically the same as on the 86-95 trucks and 4runners, only the frame is wider, but the ifs looks the same. My question is can 4crawlers bj spacers work on this? (just discovered they do). And do the usual ifs manual hubs work? I am almost positive this thing has ADD from looking at it.
There is not much on this forum about T100's, but anyone with any knowledge of them would be helpful. I hope everything is the same because that's what I know, and am used to working on.
Thanks for the help!

First off, lets get the years right....if it has a 3.4L (and not a swapped one) its a 95. If its a 3.0L 3VZ, its a 94.
They never made a 94 with a 5VZ.
The only difference between the Trucks/4Runners and the t100's, is the length of the CV axles...ie 3" longer on each side.
The manual locking hubs from 86-95 IFS will work just just the same as on the trucks and 4Runners. IIRC, all T100's have ADD.

for a small lift your only option is really bj spacers and either shackles or aal's
the next option for a lift is gonna be a 4 inch diff drop from pro comp or trail master but that is not on the cheap side. good look on what you decide to do for him.

Ya he definitely wants to stay on the cheap side. I actually like the bj spacer lift for the ifs... its cheap, easy to install, and IMO performs way better (for ifs). This truck has bigger wheel wells than the average 4runner and pick-up, I'm thinking he can maybe fit 33x12.5 with just a couple inches (maybe crank the t-bar a tad)
