stuck fuel filter

Trying to change the fuel filter on my 95 t100 but can't seem to get the fuel filter line nuts off.
I was able to break them loose but they are getting tighter when trying to remove them.
The fuel line nuts are getting tighter when loosening and get to a point where they seize up.
Not sure why they are getting tighter when unscrewing them.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Retighten to back off the messed up threads that have long corroded and seized up, then try a wire brush on those threads. Eye protection of course. One of the hex line fittings has to be held while you loosen the other. Can soak them in pb blast. Stay clear of using torches.
