I had a guy stop me in a parking lot today and ask me if I had taken in my T100 for the rust recall. I looked it up on-line and it looks like it is only for the Tacoma. Do any of you guys know if the recall applies to the T100?

 

I read around and looks like it would be only for the tacoma. The main reason for the recall is the frame. And the frames for the t100 and tacoma were made by different companies if I remember correctly.

 

There is a recall on a steering idler arm but I have not heard of a rust recall.

Best bet, just call up Toyota with your VIN, and ask if its eligible for any service campaigns.

 

No recalls for rust on Ts. Only for Tacos and Tundras

 

T-100 frames were made in Japan...the Tacoma frames were made here.

 

So, the American frames where crap????..............................Now we we are getting somewhere.
