Replacing Fuel Pressure Regulator in 1994 T100
I was wondering if anyone had instructions on replacing the fuel pressure regulator on a 1994 T100 3.0 V6 ? I've got the part on order but I was hoping to read up on the job before it arrived. Perhaps it is straight forward but I thought I'd see if there are any "tricks" from those that might have done this before. Thanks in advance.

Not holding pressure after replacing FPR
I replaced the FPR but now fuel pressure falls to zero as soon as shut the truck off. Is it possible the new FPR is bad ?
Just to give a little history, my original problem was my truck was having starting issues. I put a fuel pressure gauge on it and found the pressure to be between 20-25 psi until it started then would read 35-38 psi. When I shut the truck off it would hold pressure for 15+ minutes. My thought was the fuel pump was bad or possibly the fuel filter was plugged. I replaced the fuel filter, no change in symptoms or fuel pressure behavior. So I replaced the fuel pump. Now the pressure was reading 50-55 psi and would hold there after the truck was shut off. I was still having issues though with it not starting consistently. I assumed the fuel pressure regulator was bad since the fuel pressure was so high. After replacing the FPR, the pressure is in the mid-30's and seems to run good. But when I shut the truck off the fuel pressure drops to zero immediately which I don't believe is correct. To start or restart, it has to crank for 10 to 15 seconds before firing and even then it runs rough for a bit. Ideas ?
