i doubt im putting blocks in the rear.. me and my dad and a bunch of his friends from ih8tmud.coms forum go to arkansas and go mud ridding/rock crawlin every year, and i would put the swampers on to make that trip, but i would be pullin the t.. but i see what your saying cause i dont do a whole lot of hard core mud ridding.. i'm one of those guys who likes to keep his rig clean, but when he has to he will take it through hell.. but i like my truck to look as good as it performs.. im guessin gettin some all terrains and some somewhat aggressive mud tires.. but most the wheelin i do is in our 77 fj40 cruiser..

The t-100 in my avitar is running 12" front lift and 10" rear lift with 36" tires If i were to put on 38's it would rub just for comparison --- by the way does that mean that i should run 24" taller front tires and 20" taller rear tires ???\

If you plan on trailering it then dont worry about using the SS tires.

As far as the lift, all lift kits for this truck use blocks in the rear. Trailmaster, superlift and procomp make the only lifts, it is much wiser to get the front of the kit and use leafs for the back. I know procomp does sell a kit (although Ic annot find it online anywhere) that offers leafs instead of the blocks..

Not only would they look wierd, they would not fit. you are only taking into account the height being raised-- unless you raise it enough to get the fender above the tire the top of the fender is going to be 3 inches farther away but the rear of the fender will only be an inch or so farther away from the tire.

The 12" of lift came via an SAS 4-link coil over set up on the front and leaf springs out back. I'm also running Dana 60's front and rear.

millertime did you do the sas yourself or did someone do it for you?
i've been kicking around that route myself. what springs are you running up front? how much do you have in it minus the axle. i would probably go with the d44 rather than the d60.

I purchased the truck already completed -- I have done SAS's for myself before and am going to do another real shortly --- but i prefer to do leaf spring SAS -- the coilover set-up is just to complicated for me right now -- don't get me wrong I really like coilovers and mine works flawlessly and is professionally built -- but there is alot of geometry that goes into a coilover coversion that i don't understand ! "yet"
Good luck with whatever you guys decide to do!
