Hi, I new to the forums, but I have a problem with my 95' T100. Everytime I start the truck, the truck starts up fine and also idles fine until the engine starts to get warm the truck wants to die unless I give it more gas. The only thing I can think that's wrong with it is, its getting too much gas, because you can smell that it's running rich. I was wondering if it was a sensor maybe. If anyone could offer some pointers as to what is wrong. Also I thought about buying a diagnostic scanner for it, but I have no clue as to which kind to buy or what type.

 

if its throwing a code take it to a Kragen/Schucks/Checker or autozone they can scan it for free.
