Just thought I'd throw out a big hello and an update

Hello fellow YotaTech family. Just wanted to say hello and update you all on the 4x4 97 SR5 t100 build. Right now the build is at a standstill. The 5vzfe that was on the chassis I bought to build, ( that I was told was a good running solid engine), turned out to be a giant lie. The engine was strong at first so I dumped some money into it and continued the build. Turns out that the oil was changed just before I bought it and not run for more than an hour. Screwed is the only way I know of to describe the travesty that ensued. The cam shaft saddles were burnt uo and scored beyond repair, it blew a head gasket and heated up so with that combo working against me... I called the game due to rain. Replaced the engine, and then by some twist of fates knife in my ribs, the transmission stopped working for no apparent reason. The original wiring harness for the 4x4 chassis was cut up so badly that I couldn't repair it, especially since I was missing the half that runs through the cab and under dash. I'm still tracking wires down and in the meantime hunting a replacement wiring harness for the truck. Found one Friday and planning to go get it this week. Hope is not chopped up sitting in the junk yard. If it's good I'm hoping to get the truck back on the road, as well as finishing up the current plans to it. I'm over half way there now. Have to give it a back burner for now and go back to work for awhile.
A friend of mine gave me a 02 avalanche to drive. Yes gave me a truck to drive to work and back. When I get the right harness, I'll be back to the build. Take care all and be safe in your travels. Ram1- Mater out.
