Alternator Adjustment Bolt Specs?

While I was working on my 95 T100 SR5 4WD 5VZ-FE to change out a bad alternator belt, I had broken the alternator adjusting bolt (the one that provides the tension to the belt) and had to do a little bit of cobbling to get it working again since I couldn't find that specific part listed anywhere. I measured the bolt (what was left of it since it broke at about 2 threads from the head) and it came out to just about 3.5" or 90mm, and I when to the parts store and they thread checked the bold and told me that it was an M8-1.25. They didn't have any bolt that would work for that, so I when to the hardware and could only find a 50mm bolt, which seems to be working for now... I would like to be able to find the bolt and block thing (like a block with a side stud) that rides in the alternator adjusting plate so that I can properly replace it and have full adjustment capability on the alternator. Any ideas what to look for or to call that little block-like piece? Thank you.
