Hey there, just bought this 96 t100 and it was previously owned by a lumberjack basically. The driver side seat belt is stuck probably from build up of dirt and crap.

I cant seem to get the rear side panel off to get the seatbelt unit out. Is there some kind of bolt in the bottom part that is down by where the seatbelt bolts to the floor or is it a clip that has to be angled right?

I've gotten the side pried out a little but its stuck right down where it starts to turn into the floor.

 

Okay it seems the actual seat belt bolt down there combined with the carpet was the culprit. Now to unlock this seat belt. Any help?

 

I have a 97 T100 DX Ext cab with the same seat belt issue

 

After I got the seatbelt up I filmed the process to fix the locking seatbelt issue. I will post a link to the video when I upload it. Seatbelt works fine now and i can actually put it on.
