need speedometer cable for 94 t100 dx. cables have been discontinued. any ideas on how to fix. my cable is broke and can't get out, maybe they don't come out.

 

They do, you just have to pull out the instrument panel to disconnect it from the back.

 

I got the cable out of the truck, no problem. what I wanted to know if anybody knows of a cable thauld work in my truck. the one it calls for has been discontinued. they show several no's for that truck, but dealership doesn't know the length of any of them. I'm sure there's others that will work but have no way of knowing. My cable i 6' 5" long, can't go shorter but could go longer.
