1996 T100 3.4 Swap QUESTION

Hello Yota community. I am a new member and have a question. I have a 3.4L T-100 that is not running. I am planning on swapping the motor with the same 3.4, but from JAPAN. Will the motor from Japan fit my '96 T-100? Is there going to be any harnesses or sensors that need to be changed or will everything just bolt right up?

I know that Japan has different emission laws so there could be different sensor for emissions in the motor but not positive. Just throwing that out there. Just something to look into or someone else could know better then I do

Treat the Japan motor as a long block and swap all the various sensors from your current motor to that "new" one; that way you know there won't be any compatibility issues.

You will need to swap the headers and crossover plus intake manifold with injectors. This would be a great time to get your injectors serviced.
