1993 t100 suspension upgrade options?
I have a tired 1993 sr5 4x4 that I want to restore. I want to keep the truck as close to stock height but fit 33's on 17 inch rims from my Tacoma. I was told an Oldman Emu kit was a good option as an upgrade and would better my 4x4 capability. I am a total beginner at 4x4s so was just looking for an opinion or suggestions. Trying to make it a daily driver that is capable of some good backwoods camping.

Amazing truck. I have the exact same one, 4x4 5 speed. Whats nice about having an older 93 t100 is that they came with 4.70 gears, meaning they can handle bigger tires well, and a new motor hauls ass. I 3.4 swapped mine. Worth it all the way. Their is lots of aftermarket lifts for these things, i would suggest maybe leaving the height stock for a little while and throwing on bigger tires. I have 17's on my 93 T100 off a 2017 4 runner, raises it about 2 inches. And i tightened the torsion bars and changed out the main bolt and nuts for them. I would suggest you should do the add delete , highly worth it. Change the oils in your diffs too. I collect T100s and i have alot of know how on these trucks.
