hi guys i’m currently in the process of buying parts to do a 98 5VZ swap into an 89 toyota pickup. the other day i picked up an ecm, 4x4 m/t for 3.4 tacoma. part #89661-04410. i haven’t got the engine yet i’m still saving for that(doing stuff paycheck by paycheck) but I am planning on getting a japanese imported engine. I dont plan on looking for the exact engine harness as they are more costly and at the moment i have more time than money so i would rather buy a common one and re-pin / do some work on that one. can anyone help me with what i should be looking for? it’s obviously going to me an a/t harness as they are extremely common but what is the difference between 4x4, abs, etc and does it matter. once again: ecm: 89661-04410, 89 toyota pickup 5 speed 4x4 3vz
