Who's headlamps are the brightest these days?
Hey Guy's,
Been a while since I replaced the headlamps in my 3rd gen so who has the brightest over the counter lamps these days?
My last ones were PIAA whites but I'm leaving for a trip friday so I may just do
autozone or pep boys.
thanks, kenny S

i will agree with xtreme...we run sylvania silverstars in our cop cars and they're great, plus the dont blind oncoming traffic if they are aimed correctly...
but really, nothing beats a good old fasioned sealed beam imho

yeah I got the sealed beam silverstars in my pickup. My BMW has a 5000K hid kit in it so I can't comment there.
oh forgot, I got the silverstar ultra H3's in the fog lights on my bumper and the silverstar ultras 9005/6 I forget in the fog lights of the BMW.

I have a set of Osram 60W/70W H4s. They are slightly hotter than regular lamps that I am running through a set of square Cibies. You can get them through daniel stern lighting.
They are really bright and the Cibie lens have amazing horizontal cut off even in high beams. They are an order of magnitude better than my Hella e-codes in my samurai.
You will get more visible light from any wattage bulb by improving the lens and aiming them correctly.
