Truck thinks its in neutral

I got a 97 T100 last year and I love it but I have a problem with the trans lite on the column. It stays on neutral, I found the switch and it moves like it should but the light stay on neutral. Any help would be great thanks

Does the transmission shift or is it always in neutral??

Since it is a T100 good luck finding that part in a yard.

yes the truck shifts and run good. I can't use cruz control though and the engine warning light flags it as not working

I can only guess but if it is only the display that is not changing then of Course the Cruise Control computer sees it as being in neutral

If I had the wiring schematics I might be able to figure it out and see how hard the display is to change .

I don`t know if it is changed by a physical switch or if it is electronic .

The T100 Curse

Do you know if it is part of the gauge Cluster or is it a removeable part.

I wish I could help more
