rock crawler electrical ?

Hey, had a few things and i thought this was the place to find the answers. First, my name is Mike, i have an 87 pickup and i have done a few mods. I went propane, sas, fj80 brakes, chevy rear springs, 4.7 t case gears, 37"MTRs, hi steer, full exo blah blah. With the propane kit i eliminated alot of crap ie EGR, man. fuel pump, tons of electrical. What im wondering about is the electrical. I have to have power to the cylanoid to the propane, and i have an elec pusher fan, and a few lights. I would like to clean out EVERYTHING that isnt necessary. Does anyone know where to find some good resourses on this?

Get a simple aftermarket wiring harness. Summit, Ron Francis, Painless, etc... They make good, simple harness' to suit your needs. They even make the custom and race switch panels in a weatherproof version for rigs like yours.

I doubt anyone would be able to make you a plug-n-play harness, since your rig is so custom. Surely you'll need to design most of the harness yourself.

I've pulled a bunch of harnesses into dune-buggies and sand rails from Scratch. The attached schematic is a basic harness that I colored, that is available at any VW Parts house or supplier for around $30. The fuse-block supplied sucks and should be upgraded to Blade-Style fuses. It is a good starting point for any basic rig and contains everything needed to be street legal. I usually add terminal blocks for things like ignition, ground, etc. Because it makes it much easier to add accessories and customize.
