Re wiring 4wd indicator light after sas
I am just now completing a sas on my 92 pickup. I have to 3vze with an auto trans. The 4wd indicator light used to plug into my front diff, as well as two vacuum lines. Should I just plug the vacuum lines? And how can I wire this plug to make the 4wd light turn on the dash again?
Antoger smaller thing I haven’t really bother with yet is the little port on the top of the straight axle pumpkin. Should I attach something to that?
Thanks

The vacuum lines should be plugged. Best to find the vacuum source that fed the ADD solenoids and plug it off up there as well
As to wiring the 4WD light to indicate again, I don't know enough about the auto tranny wiring to say.
The breather on your axle should be replaced with a hose barb and hose piped high up into the inner fender well so as to better protect from water entry when fording.
The same should be done to protect your rear axle.

4wd solution
For anyone that runs into this, I found a simple fix. The 4wd light turns on when both the switch in the transfer case and the switch in the front diff (The A.D.D.) Engage, completing the signal to turn on the 4wd light. Because there is a switch in both the transfer case and the front diff, I simply connected the two wires plugging into the front diff together, having that signal always be attached. Because there is still a signal switch in the transfer case, the light works great and when it’s suppose to now.
