i just got a 91 4runner with the v6. and something ive noticed since then is there is some serious problem with the power or its normal, but locking the doors with the power controls draws alot of power. is this normal. and another thing is i have some problems with starting the vehicle, i assume the problem is with the battery because of the noises or non noises at that. any help is appreciated?

 

Try replacing the wire from the positive battery terminal to the fuse box by the battery, and upgrade it to a heavier wire. That wire provides power for most if not all of the electrical systems in your vehicle, and that should fix the problem. There have been several people here that have had that wire go bad and give them power problems, and when they replaced that wire it solved the problem.
