IS it possible ??Injector related
#1
89 3VZE SR5 runner, manual .
It ran. Not happy with how it ran.
Tear down.
EGR delete. Vacuum lines removed.
Had 4 hole injectors in. Removed. Sent a set to Injector Masters. Installed. Have to change Injector connectors BACK to OEM style. One at a time
Before teardown I had a code for Knock Sensor. Currently working towards that.
Now......
Do the injectors have a proper electrical "sequence" ?
I may have miss marked wiring when I updated my Injector wires when I put in the 4 hole Injectors.. Connections were marked, I thought properly.
Reading the ONLY electrical diagram I can find, Odds have a primary color and the same with evens.
BUT ?!
Is there a diagram that shows the correct "alignment" of the injector wiring.
OR ?!
Is there a procedure.
What sends the signal to a injector ??
Distributor ??
I've pulled the Plenum so many times to work on anything and I am at the point that I'm ready to reinstall.
But, before I do that.......IS it possible that I may have crossed a wire or two ?
Speak up all you electrical wizards.
I know somebody's been there.

Well, considering the injectors, evens and odds, share grounds, I would guess that the ECU applies the grounds alternatively to the even and odd injectors. White with a red stripe for the odds, white alone for the evens.
Does that help?
For the knock sensors, if you're planning on replacing them, use OEM from Toyota, or they will keep on throwing codes. Same with their "pigtails".
Good luck to you!
