I recently purchased a new to me 85 toyota 4runner and am trying to get everything working. Im now working on the rear window and think im missing some pieces. I have the rear window "up down" switch which is not currently installed. The previous owner took the center console out and removed the switch and put it in the glove box. I maually tested the rear window motor and all is well. My question; What am I missing bewtween the relay and the swith? Next, if I cant get ahold of the missing wiring how can I hard wire the switch. What colors go to + and - from the battery into switch and what colors are the + and - exiting the switch going to the rear window motor. Also if anybody might have what im looking for for sale I would be very intersted. Please help. Thanks for everybody's time.

 

Between the relay and the switch there should be a wire

Likely the wiring/connector for that switch should be running under the carpet over the center tunnel.

 

I did check that and had no luck 4crawler, Thanks though. I did find a guy parting out an 87 that I hope I can get what I'm after from.
