So, the other day I went to the store and when I went to crank my truck up to go home.... nothing. Engine turns but wont start or fire at all... pulled codes p0100 and p0110 (maf sensor/intake air temp, respectively), along with some random misfire codes. replaced MAF sensor and the truck still wont fire up. Any ideas where to start looking? or links to electric diagnostic procedures? I've looked everywhere on the web and here but not many instances with a no start condition and these codes, just CEL lights coming on. Truck is a 99 4 runner 3.4L. Thanks in advance guys!

 

Did you go with a Toyota MAF sensor?

Since both those things are right there at the air filter housing could you have hit a bump knocked something loose

If you had you FSM all the diagnostics are in there.

Those codes can be the sensor all the wiring to the ECM and The ECM also.

What else did you pull up any more codes are a great help??

If you still not seeing the MAF signal the COR does not turn on the fuel pump .

No fuel no start.

 

no the sensor i got was from napa, I just found the fms gonna run through that procedure tomorrow and see what happens... also, what does COR stand for? hehhe im racking my brain trying to figure it out.

 

COR = Circuit Opening Relay
