i went to start up my land cruiser wednesday morning and there wasn't the slightest bit of juice. i ended up push starting it and drove it to work with all lights and everything functioning as normal. as soon as i shut the engine off, i tried to start it again to see if the alternator had charged the battery but still nothing at all. the wierd thing too is that while driving to work, it runs slightly but noticeably rougher and my "fasten seat belt" light stays on the entire time. tuesday it was running beautifully and then wednesday, nothin. im 99% sure that nothing was left on over night to drain the battery.

i should go get the battery tested, but it's less than 2 months old so it shouldn't be the problem.

 

I have seen battery be bad when new. Get it test and check the out put from the ALT. do a volt drop check the the cables for the battery as well

ya, i had an optima red top that was dead when i first used it. this one ran fine for 2 solid months though so who knows.
