No lights, whip won't crack, no stereo

I got into my truck this morning about 6 a.m. to go in to work, turned the key in the ignition, witnissed a brief flash of the radio, and then got nothing. I recently replaced the hot wire into my fuse box, and the battery is fairly new. I'm almost positive the battery isn't dead, as my lights were all off. Is this likely a blown fuse? The only reason I am asking is I have to work all day, and I have a DMV appointment tomorrow morning at 8:30 to register my vehicle before my smog certificate runs out. I need to troubleshoot this ASAP. Thanks for the help.

First, what year is it?

Check your main fuse under the hood.

Problem solved, shorted out wire between positive terminal and fuse box. Thanks for all of the answers.
