Question MAF ideas for boosted 22re???

I am now in the last stretch with my turbo system fab for my 95 22re 2wd pickup. My fuel control is done by an Apex-i AFC neo. My factory flap MAF does not seem to cooperate with the AFC neo. The engine starts but won't stay running. And I havent installed the turbo yet. I am trying to get the factory setup to run with the Afc Neo first.

I heard I would be able to use a different maf in this case but I am not sure which to use. Maybe a MR@ turbo maf would work? Any ideas?

I'm not a master mechanic, but a little more information what your doing/done would help you get more ideas.

well the shop I work at specializes in importing nissan clips from japan and I was able to round up a turbo, intercooler, b.o.v., and a apex-i afc neo. I fabbed up all my piping including the turbo manifold. Before I install the turbo components I wired in the AFC neo fuel controller and the engine starts, but dies soon after. The guys here at the shop wonder if the "flap" MAF should be changed to a different style in order to work with the AFC neo. I need to know if I am able to wire in a different MAF (possibly a mr2 or supra maf) in order to get my engine running properly with my AFC neo wired in. The AFC neo works great with "pressure" style mafs, and I know most turbo apps use pressure mafs as well. Know of any ideas? I guess my question is, are there any other MAFs out there that can wire into my 22re ecu that would be compatible with turbo.??

Try this site. I don't think it's as easy as just swapping MAF's.
