LED Tailight options

OK more on my lighting dilemma...go with the red lenses or the clear lenses...my wife doesn't like the clear (whoopy doo right)
I thought with more LED's they would put out more light:

tail light, 4 come one:

brake light:

brake light output:

red lense w/ 6 LED:

taillight:

brake light:

6 LED brakelight output:

so I am gonna do this LED conversion...which one do you guys think?
Red or Clear?

seems like from an output standpoint the 6 LED has more...

I guess I can try one and swap to the other if one doesn't work/look that well. the other set will either go on a trailer project or just be used as spares

If you're a fan of Chrome, get the clear...unless they're for your reverse lights of course. You should install all three lights back there. This mod for me will come in time, gotta finish my OBA first.

I thought about doing this but the constant on off of the reverse probably wouldn't be good for the bulb plus it wouldn't have time to warm up.

I would go with the red lense. Where did you get your lights from? Truck lite or grote? If you're interested, I work in a warehouse that deals with a TON of these types of lights, and we have some that are 54 bulbs and other such ridiculousness as that, I have never seen them turned on, but I will here pretty soon.
