First thing, newbie to forum and its a awesome site !!! Compliments

My problem is on a 1998 Surf 5vz-fe instrument cluster,

the backlights along with the speedo and rpm needle are coming on and off intermittent ( needles are bouncing while driving ), what i have established is that when i turn up the brightness it starts acting up and then dimming stops it, but also at time it would be working perfect and at other times it doesnt work at all the reverse beeper also gets influenced .

The fuel & temp gauges works fine aswell for the 1 2 D N R P also 4X4 and all other cluster lights works fine though.

Have opened it up but no avail no loose connections or cracked PC board
