soooo...has anybody tried the 9004 Hi-Lo kit yet??

i'm thinking about getting these for my '92 4runner's crappy stock lights...maybe if i aim them right it won't be bad?

so where did you get the brisk? lights are cool, But how was the brisk? was it cold and refreshing like i've been lead to believe?

i had a 6k h4 hi/lo kit on mine it was an odd set up all it did was used a magnetic charge to change from hi to low,but you could tell a difference.

What the heck is wrong with my Hella 500's..?

I just got my Hellas in teh mail today and the backing is different than yours, it is a latch that clips over the H-3 bulb. The HID bulb will not fit....

Did Hella switch to a different type of latch or what....?

Hi Sorry for not responding sooner as I was out of town for spring break.

As to your question the hellas you bought i believe are the old design (I think). 2 out of the 4 hellas that i HIDed are like the ones you are having issues with so you CAN make it work. You can either find the retaining clip from the other style hella used and adapt it to your version or you can get a piece of wire and wrap it around the HID bulb and the clips on the base of the hella light where the retaining clip connects to. Hope that made sense.
