hid headlights

Hey all. Before I start I have done my research and know that you all hate hid kits because they blind everyone. This is definately not my goal. I have found this kit on ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/7X6-H6054-PR...ht_7812wt_1110
and was wondering if since it was just a projector and not a reflection based hid kit if it would work well. The "reflector" comes black so I figured that this would eliminate the glare complaint. Thanks for any information in advance

It's really worth your while to do it right and retrofit it in my opinion. Really the only way to do it right.

It's not just glare; all that extra bright lovely light needs to be focused and limited properly.

The bottom line: If you want cheap buy a DoT approved halogen kit. If you want projectors, retrofit it properly and be prepared to drop $300+

The ebay kit certainly looks like a properly converted projector, but look at their pictures of the beam against the wall. All that 'fuzz' around the boundary is light that isn't being directed properly. Check this out: http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/cont...-FX-IS-e46-LR3

See how sharp and defined that light pattern is compared to the ebay kit?
