Here is a good wire vs. current chart for everyone

This provides you with info on what size and length of wire is acceptable for mods such as lights or winches you may want to add to your rig.

Remember, to get amps, divide the mod's watts by 12 (volts in a car's system)

IN A DC SYSTEM FEET IS TO AND FROM THE BATTERY, EVEN IF YOU USE A CHASIS GROUND!!!!

I find a lot of people undersize their wiring. If your inbetween 2 sizes, go bigger.. it wont hurt a thing.

Also dont forget that if you use a chassis ground, which is acceptible but not always the best, to increase the ground from your battery to your frame and chassis.
