So these are the 4 wires I have coming out of my harness that go to my tps... 1989 22re 4 runner dlx 1)which pins are for what wire? Currently 4pin tps 2) Is it possible that this ECM is looking for a 3 pin tps? Ive had truck for 6years. I started doing my own work on it after a crate engine was put in wrong. Could the shop in 2016, looked up 22re throttle body or tps n got a 4 prong sent, when the ecm is looking for a 3 prong? help please. feel free to geek out. I love this ˟˟˟˟
Well, the schematic in THE BOOK (FSM), shows this:
The wire colors are shown. Just match up the wire color with the pin it goes to.
Are the pins marked in the plug, so you can tell which is which, or do you need a pinout?
