Headlight warning buzzer??
Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could help me. I've recently been given a '95 T-100, body in decent shape needs TLC. I'm going to do the timing belt water pump. 265000km. Anyway, when turning on the headlights i get a buzzer going off, when the turn knob reaches the marker light setting. i do have a broken foglight. Any Ideas, thanks

No, I checked that went you asked. There has been a remote start that has been removed. could it be a low voltage warning? It has a broken fog light. I don't know too much about this truck. It can to me through my son and before that was bartered since 2009 ish. so I'm going over it slowly replacing lines and callipers etc.... I just don't like wiring problems.

Someone might have screwed up the wiring when they removed or installed the remote start.
Is the buzzer a high or a low pitch? With the door open and the key in the ignition there should be a low pitch buzzer. With the door open and the lights on there should be a high pitch buzzer. Knowing which buzzer is sounding will help isolate the problem.

Page BE-10 shows you where the light reminder relay is
Page BE-22 shows you how to test it.
If the relay tests out ok, you may have pin 4 of the relay shorted to ground. This is the pin with a red wire attached to it on the relay socket. The only time this pin should have continuity with ground is when the door is open. If you have continuity to ground with the door shut, that is your problem. Make sure to test it with the door shut or at least push the door switch with your hand.
