headlight ground

so if what I've read ,could you connect a lead to your ground coming off your low beam and groud it giving you day time runninglights????

Well, you wound need power and ground to make the headlights/low beam to turn on. Power is normally supplied by the stock headlight relay and ground is supplied by the headlight/combo switch on the steering column. Might be able to get a 2nd gen DRL setup out of a Canadian 4Runner or get an after market DRL kit to add on.
