Front turn signals/horn won't work for nothing!
Well here i am after my cab swap pieceing everything back together....got it started. Turned my lights on they work. Radio clock....all that lovely stuff. I turn on my blinkers, they only work in the rear... i turn on my hazards, same thing, only in the rear. Another problem i noticed is that my horn isn't working which runs with the harness that goes to the turn signals up front. Any help on my situation guys, my horn used to work(I swapped in the steering wheel that was in the old cab that i knew worked and so did my lights). Did i miss a plug...or a ground? Or perhaps blew a relay?
Any help would be much appreciated...
Oh this is on my 87 22r 4wd that i just swapped cabs on
Thanks

There might be several things going on here. First off did you check the bulbs in your front signal lights? The horn is fed from the hazard fuse (which you have proven is okay...hazards work in the rear!) It is grounded at the left kick panel so is the headlight switch, the high beam indicator and the left front signal light. If your high beam indicator and your headlights are functioning properly then this ground is making a good connection, so you might have a bad bulb, broken wires or poor connections or your horn might be toast. After you rule out the bulb check the left front signal socket for 12v. on the hot side and continuity to ground on the ground side. (green/black is hot, white/black is ground) You can do the same with the horn, but you will need either long leads on your multimeter or you will need someone to push the horn button while you check for continuity. Green/white is the hot side and there should be 12v. present all the time, green/red goes to the horn button which completes the circuit to ground (white/Black at the left kick). You can only do continuity to ground checks with the horn button pushed. The horn can also be tested by connecting 2 wires to it and touch them to positive and negative across the battery. The right front signal is grounded at the right front fender, check this if okay, if it is do the same bulb, continuity and voltage checks listed above.

I was referring to me getting it started... And yes the bulbs were dead....i guess when i first attached the battery they might not have been grounded and blew the bulbs....still tinkering with the horn
