Having some electrical issues with my 89 sr5, boat trailer running lights illuminate, brake and directionals very dim. Voltage (running lights) at truck harness is 11.80vdc, voltage at trailer is (after the Hopkins 48895 converter) is 10.42vdc. Brakes at truck harness are 11.02vdc, after converter 10.2vdc. Checked bonding at truck body, .3ohms, body to frame: infinity. All trailer bonding checks are .3-.4ohms. The 1vdc drop at the converter bothers me, exchanged the converter, same issue. Waiting for a reply from Hopkins regarding the voltage drop and possible incorrect converter. Also don't like that the frame and body don't show any continuity. Me's thinkin' the problem is with the truck!
